Jack, Ruth and Naomi
Don't have a date for this photo, but I'm guessing about 1914.
I think it is probably 1916. Ruth wrote to Richard on December 17,1915 asking him to be a sponsor. If this was for Naomi, then she was likely a newborn. I forget how many kids Jack and Ruth had, but I am sure the cousins can enlighten us.
I was wrong. The photo is from July, 1914 and it was taken in Wisner, NE. There is a group picture of Mutti and family in Jahn I at page 135. Erich wrote that it was taken shortly after Konrad's death (in Sep 1916). However, Jack has the exact same suit and tie and pin in the group photo as in the picture of him above with Ruth and Naomi. I have the large group photo and it is dated July 1914 in Wisner. Naomi was born on Dec 25, 1913. Richard was in North Dakota when he was asked to be sponsor for Ruth, who was born December 4, 1915. So Paul is right, The photo with Naomi was from 1914.
